Women in Science and Engineering Graduate Student Society, a subsidiary of Women in Science and Engineering Newfoundland and Labrador, is a volunteer society of graduate students based at Memorial University of Newfoundland that aims to increase the participation and retention of women and gender minorities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers. Through monthly events, newsletters and scholarship resources we aim to support the success of early career women in STEM.

WISE GSS uses an inclusive definition of 'women' and welcomes all individuals who identify as marginalized genders and allies to join our society. Marginalized genders include those who have and continue to face systemic oppression.

WISE NL was established in January 1988, and is an award-winning, provincially and nationally recognized non-profit, volunteer-run organization. As a subsidiary of WISE NL, WISE GSS members enjoy the same rights and privileges as professional members. We encourage all WISE GSS members to purchase an annual membership with WISE NL.
