MUN Student Wellness and Counselling Centre
Ask a registered nurse: an online service that allows you to ask health-related questions to our healthcare team. Your questions will be answered directly within 48 hours by a registered nurse.
Physician and nursing services: non-urgent physical and mental health care to Memorial University (including affiliates) students and their spouses and children.
Greenshield Health and Dental Plan: Full time graduate students who are Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada are automatically enrolled in the Greenshield Health and Dental Plan.
Foreign Health Insurance: Graduate students who are international students enrolled at Memorial University as full-time students are automatically enrolled in the Foreign Health Insurance (Guard Me) plan and the Green Shield Dental Insurance plan.

LGBTQ+ Resources
Memorial University’s Sexual and Gender Advocacy Resource Centre (MUN SAGA): provides a support and social group for lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender, questioning, and other members of the Memorial LGBTQ+ community.
MUN Intersections - Memorial University’s Resource Center for Marginalized Genders: volunteers trained in crisis intervention are available for informal peer support and can provide referrals to various campus and community services.
Trans & Gender Diverse Students’ Guide: resource guide developed specifically for trans and gender diverse students at Memorial University. It provides information and resources for navigating aspects of Memorial's systems and campuses, as well as links to services and supports outside of Memorial that are relevant for trans and gender diverse students.
Trans Support Group St. John’s NL: A peer-based group that offers support to all who identify as trans, outside of the cisgender binary, or are questioning their gender identity.
Human Rights Commission NL: Receiving, recording and investigating individual’s written complaints that allege violation of the Human Rights Act. This is where people can go when they’re being discriminated against because they identify as LGBTQ.
